Presentation of “Advocacy strategy for the EU integration of the Western Balkans – Guidelines” held in Prague


EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy organized round table debate dedicated to presentation of Advocacy Strategy for the EU Integration of  the Western Balkans on December 6 in Prague.

The debate was introduced by member of team contributing to the Advocacy  Strategy, Michal Vit, followed by description of individual parts of  Advocacy Strategy by Belma Cemalovic of Foreign Policy Initiative BH.  The introduction part was followed by setting of broader European  context made by research fellow of EUROPEUM Christian Lassen. The main  topic of followed discussion was the use of Advocacy Strategy as a tool for a support of WB as a group or to support individual countries that have the best prospects for the EU membership. In addition to this, the discussion showed the need for paying attention to current challenges for the region such as migrant crisis and providing assistance to Serbia and Macedonia.
